As part oif boot A10 processor read a script.bin file. This is a binary
file created from a fex file (using an application can fex2bin). The
format and options of the fex file are mostly detailed here
http://linux-sunxi.org/Fex_Guide although there are undocumented
settings such as the Mac address.

In the Fex guide you'll see the possible options including display
settings. The A10 can support display HDMI, LCD, VGA or composite video.
I have tried various setting of HDMI but still same problem. I think
guys who ported microcore used a an A10 system with a VGA or CV display.
I think the fix will require a change the microcore framebuffer code and
the rendering of text display.

If you are planning to use your cubie with a monitor with DVI-D
interface and a HDMI adapter - it probably won't work. The A10s default
HDMi settings don't seem to suit most older monitors with DVI-D
interfaces.

Hopefully by the time your cubie arrives I'll have an image ready which
will include dropbear which starts on boot so you won't need an display.
