TXRX=hw:0,0 -- is just an alias. You can use simple Alsa soundcard indexes (hw:0,0, plughw:1,0 etc. ) with squeezelite, even though they are not shown with squeezlite -l. EDO I would use for USB interfaces. (I'm not sure though, if Triodes kernel would enhance the Touch performance overall. That's why I asked Triode some posts back if he touched anything beside the usb sound driver) With or Without EDO?? I prefer my Toolbox over EDO, for Touch-SPDIF-Coax/Toslink and analog. I compared several well regarded USB-SPDIF converters such as Audiophilleo II. I prefer my rather heavily tweaked Touch over these interfaces.
