JackOfAll, I shut down my WiFi (sudo ifdown wlan0) and connected using the wired LAN to my router. I started playing music before going to bed last night and it is still playing this morning as I head off to work. So about 12 hours or so run time so far. Evidently a WiFi issue. I will try to narrow it down a bit. It is also slow going on my end because (like everyone) I also have a day job, but mainly because I am a Linux newbe and I am doing a lot of reading along the way.
