Great, That was a problem I was having (not storing when I did the "sudo shutdown -r"). I'll try your suggestion. I didn't have a chance to try anything else last night (late work meetings), but I left it playing and it is still playing fine (over 30 hours with ethernet, using the Sgtl5000 headphone output). So I will try going back to WiFi and looking at the server logs as Triode suggests. The issue may well be with my old router.
