One of the things on my TODO list was to look at why the image didn't
reboot cleanly. I know why but I haven't fixed it yet. It's basically
due to the board locking-up when "alsactl store" is run on the spdif
interface (index 1). If you want "sudo shutdown -r now" or "sudo
systemctl reboot" to work cleanly without hanging in the mean time, a
temporary fix.....

Terry, I suggest you manually do a "sudo alsactl store 0" after setting
the heaphone vol and PCM to 100% with alsamixer if you are using the
on-board sgtl5000audio. This will result in those settings being saved
once and loaded on every subsequent reboot.
