Hi willem. Just a few questions. 1. Are you using it with WiFi? 2. Can you now freely change back to analog settings by using option 2 followed by option 5?
Before you give up please try to increase the buffer - so use the output where you can hear some music (and the pops and clicks). So try: -o hw:CARD=M2496,DEV=0 -n piCorePlayer -a 800:4 or -o front:CARD=M2496,DEV=0 -n piCorePlayer -a 800:4 And report back.
