Hi there,

I've downloaded the RC2 image and burned it to flash. Runs straight
away. Great work!
I really appreciate the effort going into this.

I've tried both the internal sound card (line out) and an uac2 sound
card. Both work. Nice!

My sound card has a sampling rate indicator which indicates that all
44.1 khz material is re-sampled to 48 khz. Imo that is not good for
sound quality. I know that ALSA sort of standard does that. When I was
running my sound card from a thin client I used plughw:1,0 as output
device to prevent from re-sampling.

Maybe we can make a selector in the web interface for that. If someone
can point me to the right config scripts and alsa config I'd like to
look into it and post results back.

Some ideas for improvement (I'm willing to help on these):
- make web interface suitable for phone (web app)
- shut down button on the web interface so that we dont have to ssh in
to do a decent shut down
- read only mounting of the SD card with a temp fs (like fusionfs) so
that a properly set up card will stay that way (eg like voyage linux).
We can then simply pull the plug to switch the device of.

Keep up the great work! MArco
