I finally managed to find the time to correct my mess withe the USB-stick mounted as cache, and the results are simply amazing. You might remember I posted the scan results in the previous thread: a bit over 11 hours for just shy of 70000 tracks in "standard configuration". Now it has scanned the same library in just under 2 hours!
