My player is a MiniX, A10 Android based device running Linaro Linux, with an attached USB sound card pulling music from a Windows 7 Core i3 LMS. I just tested my rig with a high resolution demo FLAC file downloaded from here http://www.hdta.info/tech/listen.html The file is encoded at 96Khz/24bits Squeezelite is setup with no limit on bitrate Using an old USB Sound Blaster The result is that the player's processor doesn't sweat (5% CPU on average allocated to Squeezelite), no skipping, good sound! Is there a way to know if the file is actually played at full resolution, or if it is down sampled/converted by one of the layers? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sle118's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35009 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
