I don't know what it is with me and desktop PC hard disks, but they keep failing for no particular reason. A 2TB Seagate drive that was only bought 3 weeks ago, to replace the most recent failed drive, decided to pack up on Saturday after 300 hours use. Oh well, at least the issue according to the SMART info is a new one on me, "184 End-to-End_Error". Googling seems to suggest that it is the cache on the drive that is the issue this time. Anyway, releasing a new CSOS image is delayed yet again.
