After several failed disks (like 20 or more last year, some of them with just a few months of use), we decided to switch from Seagate (Barracuda series) to Western Digital at work. Don't know what's happening with Seagate disks lately, but they die like there's no tomorrow. Now we've been using WD RE4 series for a few months and yet none of them failed. They are a little bit more expensive than the barracuda series, but cheaper than equivalent Enterprise Class HDD's from Seagate. Wish I could contribute and help you in any way, because you guys are doing a great job. ¿Maybe funds for a new HDD?. Go, JAck, Go!!!! :D ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Alcaudon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59446 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544
