Hi thanks for attracting my attention to the nrpacks=1 option, which I added to the piCorePlayer some time ago. At that time it helped with stuttering sound, but I just read up on the nrpacks values For playback it is probably not good with such a low number. As advised here http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=634933&sid=c813aea779aa9dfcfd2da7fa4f689509 I tried nrpacks=20 - and I think that it improved the soundstage, and it doesn't seem like it produce any stuttering any more. Steen What do you mean with custom kernel - I have build the kernel from github for the piCorePlayer. piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi (25MB in RAM).
