DAC I was using was NwAvGuy's ODAC, a USB DAC that should be plug and play with linux. For more information, see: http://nwavguy.blogspot.com/2012/05/odac-may-update.html My best interpretation of what you want with player hardware is this: Logitech Media Server running on a ReadyNAS Ultra 2 on my network connected to the router with a CAT6 Ethernet cable. The latest version of Squeezelite was running on a Raspberry Pi Model B with 512MB of RAM. The Raspberry Pi was connected to my router via Ethernet cable as well. I'll check the debug tonight and see if there are any messages. EDIT: After I posted my previous post I thought of the best word to describe the noise.
