Whatever skills you think I have, believe me, you don't want them. ;) I'll whisper this quietly, I don't want people to think I'm jumping ship, but I use piCoPlayer. I'm listening to a USB DAC (XMOS USB receiver) connected to a Pi running 1.06 right now! I've not bothered to look under the covers at what you've done. No need to, it just works! Actually, it was quite a surprise to plug a USB DAC into a Pi again, feed it with 176k4/192k material and experience perfect audio. No drop outs, glitches, clicks, pops. Things seemed to have moved forward with regard to the Pi and USB, which was how shall I put this politely, somewhat of an achilles heel. Oh, and I've been using wired ethernet, so that's been adding load to the USB subsystem. Keep up the good work! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
