Hi all,
I've still no luck with SqueezeLite. All I'm doing leads into bad sound
or in stopping the player after some songs. I've bought a Wandboard to
test and yes, this works fine with SqueezeLite. Sound is good and no
stoppings. So I'm wondering about the right parameters for SqueezeLite
on Raspberry Pi.
Does someone of you have Rasbian with SqueezeLite running (lasted
Distro) and do you have acceptable sound from analogue or USB? What are
the correct Alsa settings and which parameter for SqueezeLite do you
use?
squeezelite -l gives:
root@raspberrypi:/opt/squeezelite# ./squeezelite-armv6hf -l
Output devices:
null - Discard all samples (playback) or
generate zero samples (capture)

New test is running (with a C-Media USB soundcard) with the following
parameters:
./squeezelite-armv6hf -n test01 -o sysdefault:CARD=Device -d all=debug
-f /var/log/squeezeslite.log -z
My /etc/asound.conf looks like this:
pcm.!default {
type plug
slave {
pcm "hw:1,0"
}
}
ctl.!default {
type hw
card 1
}
Sound is not so bad, but I have some cracks and pops!
The logfile say continuously something like this:
