There is an official "ONOFF" button pin on the iMX6 which is supposed to fire off an interrupt that software can receive and do a shutdown. I have no idea if the current CSOS does anything with this interrupt. The Wandboard does not have a button for this, but it is on the EDM connector, it goes to a test point on the Wandboard. If anyone knows if this interrupt is handled in CSOS it would be JackOfAll. The documentation on this button says that if the button is pressed for less than 5 seconds it issues the interrupt. If held longer than 5 seconds it does not issue the interrupt and does a hard power shutdown immediately. I could try hooking a button up to the testpoint and see what happens!
