Many thanks JAckOfAll, but please, don't invest too much of your time in
this, I don't want to distract you from more important things. Since it
seems like I'm the only one having issues with this I'm starting to
think that it has something to do with my wandboard's hardware. Also, as
I told you, using the wireless connection is something temporary, I've
also noticed that when playing hi-res material I have a lot of
problems.

One thing that I've been wanting to ask for a while now.... If I
remember correctly, a few months ago you included the drivers for future
electronics touchscreen in the kernel. Do you know if anyone has tested
it? Will jivelite accept touch control directly or will it need some
modifications to work with the touchscreen?.
