After updating jivelite and enabling the visualizer in the squeezelite
player settings, I had to stop jivelite

systemctl stop [email protected]

Delete the .jivelite folder

cd /home/jivelite/
rm -rf .jivelite
--------------------
and then start and reconfigure jivelite and the visualizers started to
work.
