About upsampling: Using the standard -u hL option seems like something I can recommend. I don't know of it actually makes the sound better, but it works very well and I haven't seen any adverse effects so far. Upscaling to the full resolution of the DAC with the -X option (in my case to 192000) is also possible, I'm not sure whether it's worth it though. CPU load in this case is 30-40% Is there any benefit to this assymetric upsampling?
