Hi.

I'm still playing around with my RPI.

Has anybody managed to sent hirez data e.g 2496 on a RPI to an async USB
DAC without catching massive hickups?

Especially during the period when loading the SL streaming buffer is
extremely bad.

Im fully aware about the RPI mess, that ethernet and usb sits on the
same controller chip. That's probably the root cause of my problem.
But maybe some of you managed to get it working.
Then I need to review my settings. Overclocking helped a little btw.

I use latest SL - compiled by myself. I'm running latest Arch with 3.12
kernel.

Triode: One Q. The 2nd buffer parameter of -b x:x what is it exactly
used for? Decoding? If that's the case it might make sense to make that
value bigger then the streaming receive buffer - in case of streaming
flacs.
In case of PCM it might be kept pretty small.
Could you please once more explain the logic behind -b x:x

Cheers
