That was actually the purpose of the newconfig.cfg file, which you can
manually edit.

If this file is placed on a USB stick during booting, then piCorePlayer
should copy this file and use it as its configuration file. In that way
I was thinking that you could keep your settings safe and use them in an
updated piCorePlayer.

I think that I will make an option on the main page, so that you will be
able to save your current settings to this file for use later when
updating. But this isn't done yet.
