I agree, it sure does look like hardware limitations. However, both the
Raspberry Pi as well as my AV Receiver are capable of 192 khz sample
rates. As a matter of fact, I can play the same music files just fine
over my Plex System (the AVR shows the correct sample rate).
Any help is highly appreciated here :)!
