With 1.06, I found that you often need to do a "sudo amixer cset numid=3 2" to get alsa to output over hdmi. I also found it wouldn't "stick" with 1.06 - when I came back to the player after it had been off, I often had to re-enter that setting to get it to wake up - like the alsa stack had not seen HDMI at some point (maybe when the receiver was sleeping) so had defaulted back to the headphone output. With the settings in >1.06, this isn't a problem - I guess it's the hotplug config setting, but haven't had a chance to test it lately. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ psketch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
