With 1.06, I found that you often need to do a "sudo amixer cset numid=3
2" to get alsa to output over hdmi.  I also found it wouldn't "stick"
with 1.06 - when I came back to the player after it had been off, I
often had to re-enter that setting to get it to wake up - like the alsa
stack had not seen HDMI at some point (maybe when the receiver was
sleeping) so had defaulted back to the headphone output.  With the
settings in >1.06, this isn't a problem - I guess it's the hotplug
config setting, but haven't had a chance to test it lately.
