Hello, using 1.15e on a model A raspberry pi. Changed audio out to HDMI since I had it plugged into my home theater receiver but I got nothing but static when playing a song through the Squeezecenter control panel. Press play, loud obnoxious white noise, press pause, noise stops.
I used aplay to play a wav file and it worked fine. I played a test tone with speaker-test and it worked fine. Back to Squeezecenter and no change, just white noise. I tried changing the alsa settings through the web gui but I didn't really know what I was doing and nothing made a difference. I was changing, restarting squeezlite, testing, rebooting etc. No joy. I got fed up and decided to switch over to analog audio out to see if that would work so I went and got a pair of headphones to plug into the analog audio jack. Plugged them in, changed to analog out via the web gui, restarted squeezelite and then audio was working correctly - through the HDMI *not* the headphones. I rebooted the pi and squeezelite started and began playing the song it was playing before reboot, again through the HDMI. I went to the settings page and it's still showing as set to analog though the audio is coming out over the HDMI.
