Yes, I think waiting for the image from JackOfAll will be worth it. In
the meantime I stumbled on this thread late last night:

http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?99865-Android-TV-Sticks-Boxes-as-Squeezebox-Replacement

I read through it, loaded the original Android image back on the
Cubietruck, added a couple of apps (a SqueezePlayer and Android
automation app) from Google Play and am currently wirelessly streaming
LMS through the Cubietruck and controlling everything with Orange
Squeeze :D Everything seems to be working fine and I'm even able to sync
my two squeeze players. I will definitely give the JackOfAll image a try
though as I would expect it to have more flexibility as far as sound
quality, etc. but for now the Cubietruck is doing what I bought it to
do!
