On the USB side of things, the F20 image would have made no differences.
It was all about the shift from the Freescale vendor kernel, 3.0.35, to
the upstream mainline, 3.14.x. With a specific point being, the I2S
functionality, what had been added to it to support what was going to be
the CS DAC hardware (and any other I2S DAC for that matter),
configuration via device tree boot file, rather than hard-coded and
compiled into the kernel, like it is with the 3.0.35, which predates
device tree.
