Just remember that the WB can be a server as well. It doesn't mean it
has to be a server. Flexibility is a great feature to have.
If you don't need the LMS feature on the WB then you simply don't use
it. 

I have one WB I use for traveling. That one has an internal drive with
all my music on. See the msqueeze project in my signature.
I have a second WB behind the ceiling in the bedroom. That one is only a
player connecting to my main LMS server on my NAS.
The third WB would eventually become the player in my main listening
system. If the Arch Linux system is as simple as CSOS then that WB will
become my main server instead of the NAS. But the music will still
reside on the NAS.
