Clive, Just updated my VBs to 7.9.0 - 1407484868 @ Fri 8 Aug from the Squeeze Community repo.
Currently kicking the tyres on the "Play tracks without storing them in the database". As Ron Olsen said - "Thanks for the info, and many thanks for your hard work in making Squeeze Community LMS 7.9.0 available on Fedora 20".
