Hi, I am running squeezelite on a cubietruck ( Debian wheezy, Image of slovenia) and output to spdif, which is supposed to be ony capable of 16/44.1.
When I play 24/96 Files with squeezelite, they play fine and the cpu load on the cubietruck is low (about 5%) and the same as playing 16/44.1. Sox is not running. I have a sb touch connected via coax with the same dac ( Benchmark DAC 1) so I can compare. Squeezlite seems to sound the same or a little bit better ( just a slight touch warmer). What happens? The cpu load is too low for resampling. Is the output of spdif 24/96? I connected a different dac (Behringer ultramatch) wich showed 96 MHz, but it does not show the bit depth. Is the spdif of cubietruck capable of handling 24/96?
