Ah, great, thanks! I shall try it out first thing tomorrow. What I'm really after is to have the LMS deliver alac, and have the alac decoded by squeezelite.... have you ever tried this? (Otherwise, I shall have to go back to where I was about 2005 or so, and convert the ALAC over to FLAC en masse using David Hammerton's conversion program... but I really wanted to see if ALAC would work.) If you don't mind my asking, how do you set up your asound and other configurations? And the squeezelite parameters? I've written a little program that runs through various parameter space to find the values that work best to my ears, but it is taking a long time to find some combination that matches what seems easy to do via windows 8 or os x.... pretty stupefying, IMHO. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rcb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2830 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
