HI, Just for you I've tried 1.17a on my pi B with hifiberry digi card. I can't find any problems playing through hdmi. I started the machine running the hifiberry card, used the alsa setting page to change output to hdmi and restarted. Single track no problems at 10 seconds to go and also with two tracks. Playing the last ten seconds of track one. Power supply sony phone charger and wi-pi wi-fi. playing into my Tv which connects to my hifi via optical digital. (Hardly the best way to play for me!!). I'm happy to have a look at this again. I'll read through your posts and try to cause a problem. Only issue is I don't have an hdmi amplifier.
