If I put the output on the pi's to 100% (I can do that in the LMS settings) then it remains fixed, however I want to be able to change it, so in the same settings page I choose to make it dependent on other's player volume, namely a dedicated squeezebox... The problem with the squeezebox radio is that I cannot put it on more than 20% vol, or I get deaf... The sound on the squeezebox is approx 2x the volume than on the output of the hifiberry dac or analog output of the pi. I hope I am clear about the issue... My conclusion is now: don't mix squeezebox radio's in the same room than pi's....
