I did make an image for you guys. I'll upload it now to somewhere you
can get at it. It's just Steens official 1.18b image with the 8192cu
kernel module re-compiled with CONFIG_LED undefined. Not tested with the
Edimax dongle, but did test with a generic no-brand RTL8188CUS dongle,
and the LED on that stayed off. This isn't the way to do this in the
longer term. That module needs to be modified to take a runtime option
to do this, which of course can be done, it's just finding the time....
