Sorted... my amp must hate the default ALSA settings for HDMI.  If I
change it to 80:::0 (as per the 'analog') then it works fine.  Maybe
this is worth highlighting somewhere?  I assume it must be something to
do with my AMP, otherwise it wouldn't be the default setting?  

Additionally, a little suggestion for the more simple people around
(i.e. me) - the descriptions of the settings are not always very clear. 
i.e. for the log file:

log=level - Set logging level, logs: all|slimproto|stream|decode|output,
level: info|debug|sdebug

Does this mean I have to type 'log=xxx' in that box?  Or just the level?
This will be very obvious for most people, but not me!  Could you
incorporate a drop down box that has descriptions?

Thank you for continuing to make this, which makes things a lot easier. 
I hope I don't come across ungrateful or like I am moaning!
