Sorted... my amp must hate the default ALSA settings for HDMI. If I change it to 80:::0 (as per the 'analog') then it works fine. Maybe this is worth highlighting somewhere? I assume it must be something to do with my AMP, otherwise it wouldn't be the default setting? Additionally, a little suggestion for the more simple people around (i.e. me) - the descriptions of the settings are not always very clear. i.e. for the log file: log=level - Set logging level, logs: all|slimproto|stream|decode|output, level: info|debug|sdebug Does this mean I have to type 'log=xxx' in that box? Or just the level? This will be very obvious for most people, but not me! Could you incorporate a drop down box that has descriptions? Thank you for continuing to make this, which makes things a lot easier. I hope I don't come across ungrateful or like I am moaning! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thermomonkey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62287 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
