Evening all. I have not used my RPI (which is connected via hdmi to my Onkyo) since Feb time. I updated it to version 1.18, however there is no sound. The display works no problem. I did manage to get it working for an hour or so earlier today - basically switching amp or RPI on/off a number of times, however it hasn't worked since. I downgraded to v1.17, and still the same result. The only thing on boot that it displays relating to sound is the following:
Simple mixer control 'PCM',0 Capabilities: pvolume pvolume-joined pswitch pswitch-joined Playback channels: Mono Limits: Playback -10239 - 400 Mono: Playback 400 [100%] [4.00dB] [on] I have tried different HDMI leads, and I know the amp is fine (sky and xbox are connected). And like I say, it did work at some point today although I have no idea what I did... I certainly didn't change any settings though; all are default, except with HDMI selected as the output.
