I must admit that I have newer played any dsd file, so I'm simply
repeating Clives advice from page 263 in this thread:

"I'd be making sure I have DoP disabled on the Daphile
LMS Player config page, squeezelite DoP (-D) option disabled from the
piCore config page, and add "-e dsd" to the extra options on the piCore
config page to force the transcoding to be done by LMS."

So I think you will need to add

    -D -e dsd
--------------------
 to the "Various input" field on the Squeezelite page. For the
moment don't add anything to the "Device supports DoP" field.
