Thanks for using piCorePlayer. 
I'm sorry but there is a bug in the version you are using which cause
that precise problem. 

You can fix it by yourself by deleting the newconfig.cfg file present on
the card. Insert the sd-card in another computer and delete the file.
Then simply boot the raspberry again, and now you can save all your
settings by using the "save" buttons on the various pages.

we have fixed this in the new version which I think will be available
shortly
