Hi Lacas I agree that the Cirrus card seems to be a good card - unfortunately I don't have such a card and I think the support from the company is very poor. Actually I bought the previous Wolfson card, but they never managed to get their drivers included, and it was too much work for me to patch their changes into the different kernel versions we use. The same problem is present with the Cirrus card - I think that it is a bad decision from their side not to work really hard on this issue. Just have a look at the HiFiBerry and IQaudIO cards, it is much smaller companies and despite that they were able to deliver drivers for their cards which were accepted by the raspberry github.
