That's assuming he's in one of those U.S. states where energy is
comparatively cheap. In Germany, the kWh costs about 0.36 €. Thus,
running a Pi at 2.5 W costs like 8 € ($ 8.8) per year. If you have
a bunch of RPis, it might be worth it bringing that number down,
especially if it can be done without much hassle. (Not sure it can.)
