As you known, piCore doesn't write to the SD card (except for backup)
during normal operation. SamS issue is a regular occurring problem not
just a occasional glitch. Also, he is having the problem on HDMI and
Analog out as well as USB. I really want to know what is causing this
because it is not making sense to me and I can't reproduce it.

SamS, any chance you can try a fresh install on a branded class 10 SD
card?

No boos from me. I am not a fan of "any" USB audio product. I laugh (to
myself) when my friends tell me what they have to do to make a PC and
USB DAC work properly.

Good luck with your new project. Making a quality "commercial" product
certainly raises the bar a level or ten.
