As a matter of fact. I' used to turn off pretty much all HW peripherals (WLAN, Nand, BT, IR, SPDIF. Audio GPU, not used USB ports...) off anyhow. I2S is not easily accessible - afaik - onboard SPDIF and audio - hmmh - does anybody really want to use these??.
