hi Jeff07971, I think we need to emphasise the distinction between piCorePlayer, the official RPi Screen and Jivelite. Jivelite is a separate extension and is not part of the piCorePlayer installation. Any extension ( shairport, nano ), updated version of Squeezelite, personal customisation or scripts will be overwritten during an piCorePlayer upgrade and will need to be reinstalled. We will add some more info to make this clearer. ;) Jivelite is developed by Ralphy and hosted in his repository. We just added an option in the web interface to simplify the download and install process. piCorePlayer and Jivelite are maintained upgraded independently. So when Ralphy updates Jivelite you will not need to upgrade piCorePlayer. With the introduction of the official RPi screen, Steen has had to do a lot of work to ensure it was compatible with piCorePlayer. Jivelite being an import application for the new screen needed testing on the new hardware, hence the closer collaboration. I don't understand your issue with the VU Meters? There have been a few posts/threads about the 4dB deflection. regards Greg ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Greg Erskine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7403 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
