I'm happily running piCorePlayer headlessly with an IQ Audio Pi-DAC+. It runs well and sounds great.
I've got a Flirc dongle which I'd like to set up so that I can control piCorePlayer from either one of my Squeezebox Touch remotes or, preferably, my Cyrus amp's remote which has some spare buttons to control a CD player which I'd like to map for play, pause, etc. I've tried (optimistically) plugging in the Flirc dongle to a spare USB port and using my Touch remote but to no effect. Do I need some config? Do I need to run Jivelite? I'm not interested in adding a screen (for now anyway) but would like the convenience of a physical remote rather than having to grab my 'phone and bring up Squeeze Commander when I want to pause a track. Any help would be gratefully received.
