This older firmware is only needed for the configuration file provided bu Ralphy. Ralphy's configuration file was saved with version 1.2.x of the FLIRC software and later versions of the FLIRC software are unable to read these older configuration files (the FLIRC software doesn't even generate any kind of warning/error when loading these older configuration files :confused:).
