Very cool, thank you. You can hear the -6db drop when you set it to zero. I understand now, hifiberry's description of the PCM5122 they call it "Hardware volume control", which is actually on chip "Digital" control (after skimming thru the PDF whitepaper) probably the same as squeezelite doing it-- Not some analog control.
