There's an interesting 'new SPDIF card' (http://www.pi2design.com/coming-soon.html) for the Pi in the works.
It's similar to the HiFiBerry Digi+ with the addition of clocks for 44.1k and 48k. There is a brief discussion in this post 'Raspberry Pi I2S to SPDIF Hat' (http://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/raspberry-pi-i2s-to-spdif-hat.1990/page-3#post-50734). Would support for the additional clock frequencies be easy to add to piCorePlayer? They are GPIO selectable, but I don't understand how this would work with the Squeezelite/audio driver/OS stack. Would the driver select the GPIO based on the incoming sample rate? Maybe a question for the manufacturer, but I'm sure someone here would know the ins and outs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ badboygolf16v's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19486 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105018 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
