Yes, exactly, you've got it! 

The DacZero board is the PCM5122 DAC. The DacZeroHP (that stacks on top
of it) is the headphone amplifier. Both of those boards combined, equals
a full-size DAC+ board. 

I don't want to turn this into thread into me trying to "push" a product
at you. I have no interest in this, other than passing on the details of
the IQAudIO offer to you guys, but £10 or £11 (soldered header) is a
great deal for a PCM5122 DAC board. ISTR, the 'Pimoroni pHAT board'
(https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/phat-dac) is £12. That sports the
"lower spec" PCM5102a. With the PCM5122, you at least have the
capability to use the hardware (on-chip) volume control and select
filter from ALSA mixer.
