Arie, many thanks for your indications.

The project with a friend of mine is to build a first vumeter to test
the process and after that, to design a "pack". I love vintage
electronics and big vumeters.

By the way your vumeters are very cool, that the ones is use with my
PicorePlayer + Jive + LCD from the Raspberry foundation. 

Your vumeters inspired me a lot for this project: many thanks Arie.
