Hi, I currently own a Squeezebox Touch and pretty much satisfied with it, and I'd like to have more of the kind in my apartment. So I'm looking into building one with a raspb Pi, with a DAC and a touchscreen.
When it comes to the software, I'm very much confused because of all the tutorials and projects I found on the net, I can't figure out which combination would be sufficient to simply play music from an already up & running LMS server on my NAS. I'd like the Pi to be only equivalent to a SB Touch, but without the capability of become an LMS server of itself. Would Jivelite + PicorePlayer would achieve this? >From my understanding, this solution would allow to play the music from the database on the Pi, but potentially the music files on a remote NAS, where I would like to simply use the music database already in place.
