There is alot going on there. piCorePlayer is built on the piCore project. I have systems that have been running for months without reboots, and years without problems. Most of that software is available, but anything can be compiled and added. It sounds like your intent is to link the two stores to a central lms server. I'm not sure I would make that bridge/VPN at the player level. But otherwise, wired is always the best option.
